What you will find in Poprad

Flexity Studio Poprad runs group classes for different goals and levels: Pilates Reformer, Yoga, Cardio Mix, Barre, Pilates Mat and Soundhealing. Certified instructors lead the classes, and we keep the groups small so there is time for each of you.

Class types

Pilates Reformer

All levels, from beginner to experienced

Pilates Reformer is training on a special spring-loaded machine, the Reformer, where you can do hundreds of exercises lying down, sitting, kneeling or standing.

The spring resistance can be set for any fitness level, so beginners and experienced clients train on the same machine. It combines strength work, mobility and deep stabilization into one flowing sequence. It strengthens the deep muscles and helps your posture.

Yoga

adaptable

Yoga is an ancient practice that connects movement, breathing and awareness. In class we build strength and flexibility and make room to calm the mind. A certified instructor leads the class and adjusts the practice to your level and needs.

Each class includes dynamic and static work, breathing exercises (pranayama) and a final relaxation (savasana). Regular practice helps your posture and makes stress easier to handle.

Cardio Mix

dynamic, interval-based

Cardio Mix (circuit training) is a dynamic group class that combines whole-body exercises in short, intense intervals. You move between stations and work on cardio and strength, endurance, coordination and mobility. Each round lasts a few minutes, with a short active rest in between.

The result is an efficient whole-body workout in a short time: you improve your fitness and build muscle. It suits anyone who likes a varied, fast-paced workout.

Barre

All levels, depending on the class type

Barre is a group class inspired by ballet, pilates and strength training. You work at the barre and away from it, and the class tones the whole body and helps your posture.

Classes come in different intensities, from the gentle Barre Soft for beginners to the dynamic Barre Sculpt for advanced clients. Both train coordination and balance.

Pilates Mat

moderate, controlled

Pilates Mat is the classic form of pilates on the mat, based on Joseph Pilates' original techniques. It focuses on the deep stabilizing muscles, especially the core (abdomen, back and pelvic floor), on posture and on overall movement quality.

We work with body weight, sometimes with simple props such as a ball, a loop band or a pilates ring. It works well alongside Reformer training or on its own, and since it needs no machines, you can practice it anywhere.

Soundhealing

passive, meditative

Soundhealing (sound therapy) is a restorative practice that uses the vibrations of singing bowls, gongs and other instruments. You lie comfortably on a mat and let the sound do its work. It helps release tension and brings you into deep relaxation.

Soundhealing is a good counterpart to active training. After a physically demanding week it helps you recover and recharge. No fitness is required, so anyone can join.
